Vertu Trophy draw: Newcastle U21s land Huddersfield, Mansfield and Harrogate — all away

Newcastle United U21s have been drawn with Huddersfield Town, Mansfield Town and Harrogate Town in Group F of the Northern section of the Vertu Trophy. All three group matches will be played away. The young Magpies open at Huddersfield on September 2, then visit Mansfield on October 15 and Harrogate on November 11. Newcastle didn’t progress last season but reached the last-16 in 2018/19.
